The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded Spry Methods a contract to develop a Financial Assistance (FA) Tracker to the Natural Resources Conservations Service. As NRCS is re-engineering their core business processes, the current business requirements identify improvements to the current application systems that will improve work quality and consistency, reduce program cycle times, and improve the effectiveness of the agency by allowing it to ‘get more conservation on the ground’. The improvements are based on re-engineering the planning and programmatic data, reducing redundancy in planning tools and data entry, and segregating the planning and financial functions. The FA Tracker is that contract tracking portion of the Financial Assistance workflow. Spry will provided full lifecycle development support services to include analyzing business requirements, translating those requirements into detailed specifications, and developing a software design and IT solution implementation. “Spry is honored to continue our support of NRCS and to have been chosen to improve the quality and consistency of the FA Tracker application,” said Jeremy James, PMP, Chief Strategy Officer. “We are proud to have been chosen to support NRCS in supporting this critical mission.”
