Spry to Build U.S. Army TACOM Mobile Asset Tracking Application

The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) awarded Spry Methods, Inc (Spry) a prime contract for a Mobile Asset Tracking- Automated Parachute Management (MAT-APM) application to be built on the Salesforce Platform.

The purpose of the Mobile Asset Tracker application is to revolutionize safety, force readiness, asset and risk management, and overall sustainment of Department of Defense (DoD) equipment. This groundbreaking effort transforms field, fleet and life cycle management by employing the latest Automatic Identification Technology (AIT), passive Radio Frequency Identification (pRFID) and mobile technologies, coupled with an application capable of complex data analytics and real-time reporting.

“Spry is excited to work in partnership with the Army to develop a mobile-first platform application that can provide real-time asset visibility and add efficiencies to the supply chain process,” said David Fisher, Vice President, Platform Solutions. “Our goal is to build and maintain a repeatable asset tracking solution that can be leveraged by other Department of Defense customers.”
