Spry Team Making a Difference in the Charleston Community

The Spry Charleston office is really making a difference in Charleston! Our thoughts turn naturally toward others this time of year and there are many ways to brighten someone’s holiday season — whether it’s helping with a task, giving them something they need, or just bringing a little happiness to their day – and the Spry team has been busy doing just that.

Rick Greene spearheaded and secured a large donation from a hospital blanket manufacturer, who agreed to donate a bundle (80-90) of blankets to One80 Place, with the promise of more to come. One80 Place provides food, shelter, and critical supportive services to help individuals, Veterans, and families turn their lives around.

Cindy Mahlie contacted a school close by in North Charleston and the Spry office “adopted” a special family of five for Christmas. The money generated from Spry’s “Biggest Loser” competition in November was used to purchase gifts for the entire family.

Some of the other fun things happening at the Spry Charleston office include a food drive for the Low Country Food Bank, participation in the “Toys for Tots” drive with our neighbor and landlord NSS Plus, and the Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by SRC. Great job to the whole team and their continued efforts to making a difference and bringing positivity to the community.
